Navajo Tufa Stone Cast Sterling Silver Turquoise Cross Necklace Ambrose Lincoln
Very fine Navajo sterling silver (tufa stone cast) holy cross large pendant and chain necklace.
It was made and hallmarked by Navajo artist Ambrose Lincoln (1917-1989)
The large cross measures 4 1/8” long by 2 5/8” wide. It is set with a natural turquoise stone with deep color and a large pyrite inclusion within the matrix.
Chain appears to be hand made and has texturing on the interior of each loop. It is 22” long. Has a non-locking clasp. Weight of entire necklace is 39 grams.
Great collectible piece with a nice patina and good age & hallmark. Fred Harvey era.
